Demystifying the Differences Between Agile and DevOps

The need for innovation driven technologies have given rise to Agile and DevOps. Both of these methodologies help make the software development, deployment, and operations processes smoother.

Agile is an iterative focused software development methodology that is used to create better quality software in a timely manner. It aims at continuous integration through iteration.

But, DevOps focuses more on integrating development with deployment and operations. It uses automation technology to integrate the software development process and facilitate faster deployment. It aims at continuous delivery in an automated manner.

While both of these methods may share some similarities like better collaborations or enhanced efficiency, they have different tools and practices.

Here are some of the major differences between Agile and DevOps that will give you a clear understanding of how they are different from each other.
