There are a ton of great gaming mice on the market today. If you are a big PC gamer, having a mouse that is built for gaming is essential. A long time ago, I played with a normal, non-gaming mouse. I finally decided to give a mouse specifically made for gaming a try. The difference was unbelievable and I never looked back. The gaming mouse was more precise, more comfortable, more durable, and had other features a normal mouse just didn’t have.
Many gaming mice can get pretty pricy though. However, just because a mouse costs a lot of money doesn’t mean it is the best. In this post, I look for the best gaming mouse under 50 dollars.
This mouse from Logitech is great for any FPS gamers out there. The overall comfort and feel of the G402 is excellent. You can play for long periods of time and your hand, wrist, and arm will rarely get uncomfortable. This mouse also boosts 4000 DPI precision, 8 programmable buttons that come in handy when gaming, and pretty solid software from Logitech for configuring this mouse. Logitech also claims that this is the fastest gaming mouse available right now with tracking speeds of up to 10 meters per second. This mouse has great reviews and I would recommend this gaming mouse.
This gaming mouse from Anker is another solid choice in the under $50 range. In fact, it is so solid that it also made the best gaming mice under $30 list as well since it currently is priced at $30. As mentioned in the other list, this Anker mouse comes equipped with 9 programmable buttons and allows for a crazy high 8200 DPI. This mouse also comes with a weight tuning set to allow for maximum comfort. This mouse boosts a 4.5/5 rating at Amazon with over 2200 reviews. The design is simple yet sturdy, making this mouse very comfortable to use. Many users compare the comfort and feel of this mouse to the Razer Deathadder and the g700, which are much pricier gaming mice.
The Razer Abyssus is a great mouse that comes from a company that makes great gaming equipment, Razer. Some gamers find a mouse with a bulky design and extra buttons a bit annoying and overwhelming. If you are looking for a simple, affordable, but still solid gaming mouse, then the Abyssus is for you. It’s simple design allows for maximum comfort. It also boosts a 3500 DPI sensor which is precise and accurate. Currently, this mouse is under $40 at Amazon, which is an awesome deal.
This gaming mouse from Corsair is super light-weight, quick, responsive, and comfortable to use. This mouse has a 4.5/5 star review on Amazon. The aluminum and well designed shape make this mouse super comfortable while gaming. This mouse offers a number of programmable buttons including a programmable “sniper” button. The “sniper” button was obviously created with FPS games in mind. However, the location of it makes it ideal for any action you may perform often in game. For example, if you find yourself on comms such as Mumble or Teamspeak, using the sniper button as your push to talk button is really convenient. Finally, this mouse comes with a 8,200 DPI laser sensor which is quick and precise.
This mouse from Redragon has a crazy high 16400 DPI laser sensor, 18 programmable buttons, and 8-piece weight tuning set. This mouse boosts an impressive 4.5/5 stars on Amazon with over 1,800 reviews. Generally speaking, this is a bit of a larger mouse size-wise. However, even with the larger size, many users find this mouse to be very comfortable. As mentioned above, this mouse has a crazy number of programmable side buttons. These buttons are likely going to be more useful in MMOs and RTS games. Most FPS games won’t have enough actions for all these buttons. The large amount of buttons can be both a good thing and a bad thing. It can really take some time to setup and get used all of these buttons. However, if and once you do, you are likely to have an advantage over someone using fewer buttons. All that being said, you don’t have to take advantage of all 18 buttons. Overall, this is a solid gaming mouse from Redragon that is currently at a great price.
The above mice are a few of the best gaming mice under $50. Like to nominate another great gaming mouse under $50? Let me know in the comments!
